Steady Frame
Support begins with the whole rig
Camera support is a system of loads, heights and interfaces. Steady Frame makes those details visible across travel, field, video and tabletop equipment. Trek 6 reaches 152 cm; Ridge 12 extends to 168 cm; Motion 8 uses a video-slide plate. Table 3 belongs close to a surface, with its working range of 12 to 32 cm.
The payload check adds the camera and lens figure to the head and accessory figure you supply. It then compares that assembly and requested working height with the selected support. A light camera does not erase the weight of the equipment fitted above the legs.
Head choice has its own constraints. Ball 12 lists Arca-type compatibility with Trek, Ridge and Table; Slide 8 is listed for Motion. Shared thread dimensions alone do not settle plate compatibility. Use the catalogue to narrow the selection, then inspect the assembled rig and each lock before trusting it with a camera.
